Senior tri-captain Kyle O’Malley, who has committed to play lacrosse at Hartford, displayed his basketball acumen in that contest with 20 points and 14 rebounds.
“Dai’Eviian plays tremendous defense and usually guards against the other team’s top player,” the coach said.
John Baldi is another player from an athletic Mahwah family, a 5-10 guard, “is a smart player and we don’t miss a beat when he comes off the bench,” Branagh noted.
The freshman class has contributed 5-6 point guard Nicholas Pelpekian, whose brother plays football, but this younger brother has proven to be made for basketball.
